Randy Bufford

Randall Bufford has over 39 years’ experience in the healthcare industry, primarily in providing care and support services to seniors. He founded Louisville, KY based Trilogy Health Services, LLC in 1997 which is an owner, operator, and developer of over 125 senior living communities throughout the Midwest. Trilogy Senior Living Communities provide care across the healthcare spectrum, from independent and assisted living to memory care, short-term care, and post-acute healthcare services. Randy has a proven track record of growing values-based organizations that achieve peer best results for customers, employees and investors. His emphasis on a servant leadership culture is the cornerstone of the Trilogy culture.

He also started synergistic ancillary healthcare service companies that have grown to serve over 50,000 customers daily through Synchrony Rehabilitation operating in 165 locations and Synchrony Pharmacy with eight locations, covering 14 states.

Trilogy was the only senior living company to have been named to Glassdoor’s 100 large employers in 2020. Randy also has the honor of being named one of Glassdoor’s Top 100 CEOs in the U.S. in 2018 and 2019. He was inducted into the Kentucky Entrepreneur Hall of Fame in 2021.

Randy is a dedicated supporter and former Trustee of the University of Louisville where he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Commerce/Accounting in 1981. He served as head manager of UofL’s 1980 national championship winning men’s basketball team. In 2015, Randy was inducted into the University’s College of Business Entrepreneurship Circle of Fame.
