AGING INNOVATION. IT’S NOT JUST FOR BOURBON.

In a state where there are more barrels of bourbon than there are people, it’s no surprise that aging is top of mind.

But for the leaders that comprise the Louisville Healthcare CEO Council, it’s the diverse and growing needs of our nation’s aging population that are the focus.

In 10 years, one in five Americans will be age 65 or older. That’s going to be a massive opportunity. Or a massive crisis.

We see it as the former. That’s why the nation’s best minds in aging innovation have come together to determine the future of healthcare.

And you’re invited to help us do it.

And help shape the future of healthcare for an aging Nation.

The second annual CareTech Pitch is set for Thursday, September 3, 2020 at the Galt House Hotel as part of the Aging Innovation Global Healthcare Summit.

The CareTech Pitch competition will highlight the second day of the summit, Thursday September 3, by uncovering solutions in Social Determinants of Health and connecting startups and investors from around the world Pitch finalists will present their innovations in front of investors, entrepreneurs, and healthcare CEOs during this high-profile event.

Last year’s winners in the growth and early stage categories were TCARE, presented by Ali Ahmadi, TCARE’s co-founder and CEO and Family Directed-HomeHero, presented by Kiel Dowlin, President.

“My experience with the CareTech pitch confirmed my assumptions about Louisville as a hub of aging innovation and affirmed my decision to relocate from New York to Louisville to build our company,” said Dowlin.  “Everyone in the community is focused on driving collaboration and innovation throughout the state of Kentucky. The connections I made through CareTech will help our business be more successful not only on a local level, but also on a national level.”

All CareTech Pitch 2.0 finalists will join  LHCC in a curated Derby weekend including attendance at the exclusive Unbridled Eve Gala and either the Kentucky Oaks or Kentucky Derby.  Winners in each category have the added prize of time in front of the Louisville Healthcare CEO Council Board.
